Description
The immortal knight faces defeat in the English Civil War and battles the vampire Oliver Cromwell. AD 1644. While Richard Ashbury finds love in Italy, disaster strikes back home in London. When Richard returns he finds England in a state of war as Puritan rebels battle to overthrow the English Crown. But for the first time in centuries, Richard finds himself without allies and without his friends in the Order of the White Dagger as he struggles to save the king from the immortal commanders of the New Model Army. In an England oppressed by the tyranny of the Puritans, he cannot know who to trust and defeat follows defeat until he is driven to depths of despair he has never before known. As evil tightens its grip on his homeland, if Richard cannot find a way to defeat his enemies then all will be lost forever.
